It’s been about a month since I started this journey, and the site has finally taken shape. The core functions are live — you can sign up, browse the directory, and see how the map search works. Growers and suppliers can create profiles, get found on the map, and set up their own storefronts to list products or post classifieds.
Where I’m at now
There’s still some ironing out to do. I’m spending this time in the back end making sure the site is fully compliant and your data is respected from day one. I’m also polishing the static pages, vetting marketplace tools, and building out the remaining support pages. The goal is to make the experience as smooth and simple as possible.
April: The Final Polish
- Mid-April — Site build 100% complete. The marketplace, multi-vendor dashboard, and subscription tiers will all be solid.
- End of April — Optimisation. Getting the site ready for Google and AI search so that when a customer is looking for what you grow, they find Growerslink first.
May: The Big Push
In May, we open the doors properly.
We’re giving away free one-year subscriptions to the first 1,000 growers and suppliers who make the cut. After signing up, you’ll be able to access a page with a short form where you share details about your operation. If you’re serious about what you do, the offer is yours. I’ll also be personally reaching out to growers and suppliers to invite them in — because the goal from day one is a real marketplace, with real people, advertising real products.
To support those first 1,000, I’m launching a targeted ad campaign across Facebook and Google to bring buyers to the site so you can focus on growing.
The bottom line
The heavy lifting is done. April is about making sure the tech is rock solid. May is when we open the doors and start solving real problems for the horticulture community.
Thanks for sticking with us.
